As a dietitian I get a whole lot of questions…which I love by the way, and a good number of these questions have answers that originate from similar concepts.

In this section you will find information that attempts to answer and explain many of the common questions that we all have about food and nutrition.  I try my best to stay abreast on current research and to take that into account with my answers.

I am a strong proponent of a non-diet approach to wellness with a big focus on mindful eating.  I also believe that a primary solution to many health and diet issues involves incorporating more whole foods in our diets.

With that being said, one of my goals as a wellness dietitian, educator, counselor, and motivator is to help people make the changes and tweaks that they need without going overboard.
